1. 우리는 교회가 예수 그리스도를 머리로 한 믿는 자들의 공동체임을 믿습니다. 교회는 하나님의 말씀을 신실하게 선포하고, 권징을 바르게 시행하며, 성례를 올바로 집행함으로써 그리스도의 복음을 전파합니다.
2. 우리는 성경이 모든 사람에게 주어진 하나님의 권위 있고, 최종적이며, 절대적인 말씀임을 믿습니다. 성경은 성령의 초자연적인 인도하심 아래 인간 저자들에 의해 기록되었습니다. 성경은 우리의 믿음과 행동의 기초입니다. 우리는 성경의 충분성, 필요성, 무오성, 명확성을 믿습니다.
3. 우리는 오직 한 분 참되신 하나님이 계심을 믿습니다. 하나님은 우주의 창조자이시며 통치자이십니다. 하나님은 영원 전부터 성부 하나님, 성자 하나님, 성령 하나님으로 존재하십니다. 이 세 분은 동등하시며 함께 존재하시며 한 분 하나님이십니다.
4. 우리는 예수 그리스도께서 하나님의 아들이시며 삼위일체의 두 번째 위격이심을 믿습니다. 예수님은 참되시고 영원하신 하나님이시며, 아버지 하나님과 동일 본질이며 동등하십니다. 때가 찼을 때, 예수님은 인간의 본성을 취하셨고, 모든 본질적인 속성과 일반적인 연약함을 지니셨으나 죄는 없으셨습니다. 성령의 능력으로 동정녀 마리아의 몸에서 그녀의 몸을 통해 잉태되셨습니다. 이로써 신성과 인성이라는 두 본성이 혼합, 변화, 분리 또는 혼동 없이 하나의 인격 안에 완전하고 온전히 연합되었습니다. 이 인격은 참 하나님이시며 참 사람이시며, 하나님과 사람 사이의 유일한 중보자이십니다. (웨스트민스터 신앙고백서 VIII-2) 예수님은 모든 인류의 죄를 위한 완전한 희생 제물로 십자가에서 죽으셨습니다. 사흘 만에 죽은 자 가운데서 부활하셔서 죄와 사망에 대한 승리를 나타내셨습니다. 하늘의 영광으로 승천하셨으며, 다시 이 땅에 오셔서 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주로서 다스리실 것입니다.
5. 우리는 성령 하나님이 성부, 성자 하나님과 동등하신 하나님이심을 믿습니다. 성령은 그리스도인에게 삶의 능력을 주시고, 영적인 진리를 이해하게 하시며, 옳은 길로 인도하십니다. 성령은 믿는 자들이 하나님의 뜻대로 살 수 있도록 도우십니다.
6. 우리는 인간이 하나님의 형상대로, 하나님의 성품을 닮도록 창조되었음을 믿습니다. 인간은 하나님의 창조물 중 최고의 존재로, 하나님의 영광을 반영하도록 창조되었습니다. 우리의 첫 조상은 사탄의 유혹에 넘어가 금지된 열매를 먹음으로 죄를 범했습니다. 이 죄로 인해 그들은 원래의 의로움과 하나님과의 교제를 잃고 죄와 사망 아래 놓이게 되었으며 스스로를 구원할 수 없는 상태에 이르렀습니다. 그들이 모든 인류의 뿌리이므로, 이 죄의 죄책이 모든 후손에게 전달되었습니다. 이 죄로 인해 우리는 본질적으로 선을 향한 의지와 능력을 잃고, 오히려 악에 기울어진 존재로 하나님과 분리된 상태가 되었습니다. 7. 우리는 구원이 하나님께서 인간에게 주시는 값없는 선물임을 믿습니다. 인간은 자신의 선한 행위나 노력으로 죄의 상태를 회복할 수 없습니다. 오직 예수 그리스도를 믿음으로만, 즉 죄를 위한 완전한 속죄를 이루신 그리스도를 믿음으로만 죄의 형벌로부터 구원받을 수 있습니다.

- We believe that the Bible is the authoritative, final, and absolute God’s Word to all men. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the basis of our beliefs and behaviors. We believe in the sufficiency, necessity, inerrancy, and clarity of the Bible.
- We believe that there is only one true God. God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: God the Father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-exist, and one God.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the second person in the Trinity, being very and eternal God, of one substance and equal with the Father, did when the fullness of time was come, take upon Him man’s nature, with all the essential properties, and common infirmities thereof, yet without sin; being conceived by the power of the Holy ghost, in the womb of the virgin Mary, of her substance. So that two whole, perfect, and distinct natures, the Godhead and the manhood, were inseparably joined together in on person, without conversion, composition, or confusion. Which person is very God, and very man, yet one Christ, the only Mediator between God and man. (WCF VIII-2) He offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all man by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
- We believe that the Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He enables believers to live lives according to God’s will.
- We believe that man is made in the image of God, to be like him in character. He is the supreme object of God’s creation to reflect God’s glory. Our first parents, being seduced by temptation of Satan, sinned, in eating the forbidden fruit. By this sin, they fell from their original righteousness and communion with God and became subject to dead in sin unable to regenerate themselves. They being the root of all mankind, the guilt of this sin was imputed and conveyed to all their descendants. By this sin, we are utterly indisposed, disabled, and made opposite to all good and wholly inclined to all evil, separated from God. (WCF VI-1,2,3, & 5)
- We believe that salvation is a free gift from God to man. Man can never restore himself from his sinful status by good works or self-improvement. Man can only be saved from sin’s penalty through having faith in Jesus Christ who made a perfect atonement for man’s sin.
- We believe that the church is the community of the believers with Jesus Christ as its head, which is based on the faithful preaching of God’s Word, faithful exercise of discipline, and proper administration of the sacraments, to spread the Gospel of Christ.
